“A Beginner’s Guide to Growing
Herbs” Demo/Class
There are so many benefits to
having an herb garden! Grow herbs on a patio or in the
backyard, both methods will supply you well! This class
will get you started with basic information like
choosing a location, preparing the soil, plant care and
maintenance, and how to harvest your herbs. Learn the
best herbs for cooking, tea, medicine making, crafting
and more!
Students will see a demonstration and take home an
informative handout. |

herb farm for years! Come sample tea and treats made
with fresh herbs from our gardens! Bring Mom out to
explore the greenhouses, tour the herb gardens, and

“Herbal Topiary Workshop”
Gardening Workshop
Learn to grow herbal topiaries for
your garden or patio. These natural works of garden art
are fun projects for everyone in the family. Students
will start a standard rosemary topiary to take home.
Learn the best herbs to grow as topiaries, and year
round care. Framed, stuffed, tabletop, and garden
topiaries will be discussed. Workshop includes a hand’s
on experience, topiary to take home and instruction
sheet. Pre registration and payment requested by 5-12.
